If you already have a well-established network and you want your Cloudvanti applications to be able to take data from or communicate with it you can use Virtual Network Peering. Virtual Network Peering will integrate external networks to Cloudvanti's virtual network, making traffic between networks safe and reliable.
Why need using Virtual Network Peering?
All resources such as VM, App Services, and Databases in Cloudvanti will be part of a single Azure Virtual Network. All resources within the same virtual network will be able to communicate with each other privately and it is a lot safer than communicating with the public internet. However, if entities located outside Cloudvanti's virtual network (e.g Your resources in your own Azure subscription) want to communicate with Cloudvanti's resources, they will need to communicate through the public internet. This could raise some security concerns and is generally less secure than having your application communicating inside a private network.
Cloud Network Interconnectivity
Cloudvanti will implement Azure VNet peering to integrate other Azure networks to Cloudvanti's virtual network and VPN Gateway for on-premise or other cloud networks.
To resolve the issue of having your network communicate with Cloudvanti through the public internet, Cloudvanti offers a service to create a secure connection between your network with Cloudvanti's.
For Azure Virtual Network owned and managed by you, we could set up an Azure VNet Peering to connect your virtual network securely to Cloudvanti's. Traffic between peered virtual networks will not go through the public internet instead, it will use Microsoft Azure private network. To learn more about Azure Virtual Network Peering, refer to this link.
For On-Premise networks or Cloud networks that are not hosted by Azure, we will connect your network to Cloudvanti's with the help of Azure VPN Gateway service. To learn more about Azure VPN Gateway, refer to this link.
For security reasons, setting up network interconnectivity will not be self-service. Instead, you will need to contact Cloudvanti support to set this up.
